Pillbox Museum
The long-term firing point (DOT) was museumized and opened to the public in 2004. This is firing point No 115 of the Minsk fortified area, built in 1932 and was part of the Stalin's Line defense system.
The three-hammered pillbox, designed for 12 soldiers, recreates the combat situation: there are three Maxim machine guns with ammunition boxes, a periscope for all-round observation of the enemy, a cooling system, a filter-ventilation system, communication equipment, an original telephone reel from 1943 and other military items. At the embrasures, Red Army soldiers, represented as dummies, are still “keeping their combat watch”.
